DALLAS, Texas — Two paramedics were hurt and a driver was killed Sunday after a truck crashed into an ambulance.
CBS DFW reported that a Dallas Fire Rescue ambulance was responding to a call with its lights and sirens on when a truck sped through a red light and crashed into the passenger side of the rig.
Two paramedics were transported to the hospital. Officials said one was released Sunday afternoon, while the other remained in the hospital to receive treatment for more serious injuries.
The driver of the truck, Luis Cabrera, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
