3 people injured in 3-vehicle crash

FINDLAY, Ohio — A three-vehicle accident on East Sandusky Street sent three people to the hospital at 10:20 p.m. Friday, city police reported.

Charles Stewart, 25, his passenger, Cassandra McCartney, 23, both of Findlay, and Mallory Alden, 20, of Lima, all were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

Alden was a passenger in a Honda Civic driven by Austin Hollingsworth, 19, of Lima.

According to the Findlay Police Department, Hollingsworth was driving on East Sandusky Street when he ran a red light and collided with Stewart’s GMC Jimmy, which was traveling on South Blanchard Street.

Hollingsworth auto spun into a stopped Kia operated by Madison Cramer, 19, of Arcadia, on East Sandusky Street.

Stewart’s GMC slid into a fire hydrant.

The Findlay Fire Department extricated Alden from the Honda.

Hollingsworth was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.

Assisting at the scene were Hanco ambulance, Lowery’s Towing and Shorty’s Towing.
