ROME — A paramedic who rushed James Gandolfini to a hospital after he suffered a massive heart attack has been accused of stealing the star’s $3,000 Rolex.

NBC News reported that Claudio Bevilacqua, 43, went on trial Monday for allegedly stealing “The Sopranos” star’s Rolex Submariner watch in June 2013. It’s still unclear whether the watch vanished from Gandolfini’s hotel room or when he collapsed.

Bevilacqua was not present for the case’s first hearing.

A judge postponed the start of the trial until November.
