DEVON, England — Two men who were thrown from their fishing boat when it was hit by a large wave had to be plucked from the water by lifeboat crews who then had to tackle their out-of-control boat.
This dramatic video footage shows lifeboat crews battling in difficult conditions to stop and control the 25ft twin hull boat which span out-of-control in Bude on Sunday.
The town’s inshore lifeboat was initially tasked to the rescue of two people in the water at Bude bay at around 7.54am on Sunday. Upon arrival at the scene, the lifeboat recovered the skipper of a local fishing vessel from the water while a second man was assisted to the shore by surfers.
