LOS ANGELES — LifeLine-EMS and the Los Angeles Police Department have partnered for a first-of-its-kind program called Law Enforcement Applicant Development (LEAD).
LEAD will encourage individuals interested in starting a career in law enforcement to gain valuable experience and competitive advantage by joining LifeLine-EMS while in the application process.
“By working together, we can create a stronger, more effective public safety system that serves the needs of our community,” LifeLine-EMS CEO Max Gorin said. “We are excited to welcome the LEAD applicants into our ranks and to provide them with this opportunity and support to thrive in this challenging and rewarding field.”
Individuals joining LifeLine-EMS will gain a competitive advantage when entering LAPD’s 7-step hiring process through this unique employment pipeline. LEAD will allow applicants to develop their leadership skills, enhance their communication abilities and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

LifeLine-EMS and the LAPD will collaborate to transition LEAD EMTs into the workforce.
