SNYDERSVILLE, Pa. — Rob Kramer said he’s too stubborn to be a vegetable. The former Wind Gap EMT and volunteer firefighter suffered a brain aneurysm in January and is making a miraculous recovery.
His brother, Michael Regan, was told by multiple doctors at Pocono Medical Center that Kramer would never be a functioning member of society even if he lived, he said.
“We never contacted a funeral home or anything like that,” Regan said. “But as far as the family, we were all prepared for the fatal end.”
