WILLINGTON, Conn. — Police say an SUV carrying football fans crashed on its way home to Connecticut after a New England Patriots game, killing three people and critically injuring a fourth.

State police say the Toyota RAV4 rolled over Sunday night at a rest stop on Interstate 84 in Willington.

Police say 29-year-old Kyle Fedors of East Lyme was declared dead at the scene, and 35-year old Keith Devlin of Wethersfield and 30-year old Walter Dlugozima of New London were pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital.

Police say 27-year-old Meggan Shafer of New London is in critical condition at Hartford Hospital.

Keith Devlin’s father, Kevin, says he gave his son his season passes for the game.
