LOWER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were hurt after an ambulance and SUV collided Sunday evening.
Lehigh Valley Live reported that the SUV was struck on the passenger side by the Northern Valley EMS ambulance, causing it to roll onto its side.
Police said the driver of the SUV, 17, did not give proper clearance while turning. Police said the teenager was given a turning violation citation.
The driver of the ambulance, Stephanie Rowan, was not hurt, but her partner, Kayla Starkweather, was injured and transported to the hospital.
