KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A passenger involved in a double-crash that killed an EMT has died.
Brittany Despins, 22, also an EMT, died at the hospital Nov. 23, five days after the crash, according to hospital officials.
Despins was inside a vehicle that lost control and rolled over a median, ejecting at least one of the four passengers and hurting the other three.
Wood TV reports that a few minutes after that incident, another vehicle driving along the same road also lost control and drove through the accident scene striking two from the first vehicle as well as two good Samaritans who stopped to help.
Despins was critically injured in the accident and taken to the hospital.
Paramedic Trevor Stuck, 23, died at the scene, although it is not clear if he died as a result of the first or second crash.
There is an ongoing investigation in the accidents.
