SCOTLAND — Ambulance operators are “blacklisting” an increasing number of homes for fear of attacks by residents, new figures showed today.
Over 590 homes across Scotland had been flagged by health authorities as of April following threats or physical attacks on paramedics, with 156 addresses added in the last year.
Addition to the list means ambulance crews will not enter the property unless accompanied by police officers, even in life-threatening situations.
