HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — “Time is definitely of the essence,” said Alison Boylen, a Huntsville Emergency Medical Services (HEMSI) Paramedic.
Boylen and her co-workers now a have a tool that helps save precious time when responding to emergency calls. It’s a small black box called InMotion technology. It has several helpful features, including tracking ambulance locations.
“It shows it in real time where it is, which the dispatcher uses to assign the closest unit to the emergency call,” said Jerry Slaughter, HEMSI Director of Information Technology Services.
