AUSTIN, Texas — MP Cloud Technologies, Inc announced that it has acquired the business of MedaPoint Inc, the provider of an advanced cloud-based software platform for the Emergency Medical Services industry. The business combination closed June 8, 2018, and includes the management team and all the assets, contracts, and intellectual property of MedaPoint. MP Cloud Technologies will continue service to its nationwide network of customers without interruption.

The acquired business was founded in 2012 in Austin, Texas, and grew a national base of private and municipal ambulance customers. The company’s software platform supports the dispatch, medical claims billing, and electronic patient record functions of the pre- and post- acute care medical transport industry, using a new-to-the-industry, integrated, cloud based technology. MP Cloud Technologies will continue the business model calling for subscriptions on a software-as-a-service basis. MP Cloud Technology will inject new capital into the business and accelerate the company’s growth.
