Orange County Ambulance Company Donates $400,000 to National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians During “EMS Week”

Anaheim, Calif. – Lynch Ambulance, an Anaheim-based provider of medical transport services, presented the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians(NAEMT) with a $400,000 donation today in honor of “National Emergency Medical Services Week” (May 19-25).

“It is a pleasure and an honor to receive this generous gift from Lynch Ambulance during such a symbolic week in our industry,” Don Lundy, Board President of NAEMT said. “This is a tremendous contribution that will be used to further the professional development of EMT’s, Paramedics and others in the industry, as well as to grow the EMS industry beyond emergency response into the wider realm of heath care. We are humbled by the recognition that Lynch Ambulance has given to our cause. ”

National EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s front line. This timely contribution was made to support NAEMT’s ongoing advocacy and educational programs for EMS practitioners- including paramedics, emergency medical technicians and emergency medical responders.

“We wanted to make this donation to an organization that not only supports the values and goals of Lynch Ambulance and our entire industry, but is also dedicated to saving lives,” Walt Lynch, CEO of Lynch Ambulance said. “NAEMT is the voice of the front lines of emergency medicine and we want to recognize them for all the work they do.”
