Customer-run groups to promote product knowledge and sense of community
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – emsCharts, Inc. announced at their annual User Conference this month that Customer User Groups will be implemented across the country in 2010.
emsCharts, Inc. will offer resources for customers to build regional and local User Groups as well as national groups for special interests in EMS. The groups will provide new and existing users with a means of networking and knowledge-sharing. The objective is to promote product knowledge and a stronger sense of community among users.
“Nationwide, we have over 2,000 EMS agencies and over 56,000 individuals actively using our software products,” states Pete Goutmann, Vice President of emsCharts, Inc. “We provide online forums for our user community, but we wanted to give them additional ways to interact and exchange ideas.” Goutmann continues, “Our annual User Conference attracts only a small fraction of our total user base to network in person, so we identified the need for this extended reach to our customers and end users.”
emsCharts, Inc. has begun building a local chapter initially in the Pittsburgh area. The goal is to have local and regional chapters identified and meeting regularly by the end of the year. “We are currently accepting applications for membership into our local chapters, and also taking ideas for national special interest groups,” states Ryan Butscher, the coordinator of User Groups for emsCharts. Information is currently available on www.emsCharts.com.
