The College Network Sponsorship with NAEMT Allows New Scholarship

The College Network attains Corporate Partner Level of NAEMT Sponsorship
Sponsorship Allows NAEMT to Introduce New Scholarship

Clinton, Miss. — The College Network has partnered with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) at the Corporate Partner level of sponsorship.
Sponsorship is vital to NAEMT programs and services. Without the support of corporate sponsors, NAEMT would not be able to continue to carry out its critical mission of representing and serving EMS practitioners on a national level. When a company chooses to sustain NAEMT through sponsorship, it visibly demonstrates its support for the life-saving efforts of EMS practitioners throughout the nation.

NAEMT offers eight levels of sponsorship, of which the Corporate Partner level is the highest.

New scholarship offered

The College Network’s sponsorship allows NAEMT to offer a new scholarship for $2,500 available only to full, active NAEMT members to assist them in continuing their education. The scholarship, exclusively sponsored by The College Network, will be awarded quarterly in March, June, September and December. The scholarship can be used toward any degree completion program as offered by The College Network, including EMS Management, Fire Science, Business Administration and other areas of study. Applications for the first scholarship are due by March 15, 2009.

The College Network partners with several of the nation’s foremost institutions of higher learning to provide college degree programs through distance learning to working adults. Learners begin by using The College Network’s online Comprehensive Learning Modules (CLMs) to earn college credit for general education and prerequisite courses by passing end-of-course college equivalency exams. Credits earned by passing these exams are then transferred to a partner university, where learners complete their degrees online—saving time and money.
