WINNIPEG, Canada — A Winnipeg man left disabled for life after a wintertime fall is suing the city, claiming his 911 call for help wasn’t answered quickly enough.
In court documents filed Nov. 26, Robert Malanczuk said he slipped on his elderly parents’ driveway and was pinned partially underneath his car on the night of Jan. 7, 2008.
His boot fell off in the fall, he said, and he knew that he’d broken a bone.
