ANNAPOLIS, Md. — State auditors examining the state police helicopter division may have found more than what they were originally looking for because their highly anticipated report is being pushed back until summer.
Legislators ordered the audit of the state police aviation division in July following complaints about maintenance, short-staffing and the use of Medevacs for activities other than their primary mission.
“They found other items that need more investigation,” said Delegate Galen Clagett, a Democrat on the Joint Audit Committee.
