Versatile control head features largest, brightest, clearest display on a land mobile radio
Irving, TX – EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFJI) today introduced the Lightning Control Head for its Project 25 compliant ES Series Mobile Radio. The company will demonstrate its new patent pending control head at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 115th Annual Conference & Exposition November 9-11 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Key features of the patent pending Control Head include: dash or remote mount configuration, 320 x 80 pixel display resolution, electroluminescent 3-line text display with 16 alphanumeric characters, 5 soft keys (backlight, display, channel select, scan, and tones). Key features of the ES Series Mobile Radio include: Project 25 trunked and conventional operation, interoperability with SMARTNET®/SmartZone®, Enhanced (AMBE+2) P25 Vocoder, over the air rekeying and over the air reprogramming, and support for up to 864 talkgroups.
