Washington, DC - The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International announced its support of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) new Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau. The FCC adopted the proposal to create the new bureau at their Open Commission Meeting today.
“APCO International supports the creation of this new bureau to focus attention on the needs of public safety,” APCO International President Wanda McCarley said. “We look forward to working with the FCC on the details of the transition to the new bureau.”
