The MindTalk technology, presented at the EMERGE Demo Day in San Francisco on Sept. 23, 2015, wants to make communications possible and clear when operating in loud spaces, like a rescue scene.
MindTalk uses patent-pending bone conduction technology to allow emergency responders to literally “listen through their bones”.
The technology will be integrated into respirators and other first-responder equipment to allow radio communications in loud and extreme environments, where headphones won’t work and ear protection is necessary.
