EFJohnson Portable Offering Expands Product Portfolio
IRVING, Tex. -- EFJ, Inc. (Nasdaq: EFJI) announced today that its EFJohnson subsidiary has expanded its product portfolio by introducing a simplified version of its Project 25 compliant portable radios. This new radio does not have a display or keypad.
“Our customers have asked for a simplified portable radio, which some in the industry refer to as Model I,” said Michael E. Jalbert, chairman and chief executive officer of EFJ, Inc. “This rugged new radio gives customers a basic, simplified radio with push-to-talk functionality in a straightforward design. We will begin shipping the new radio in our fourth quarter,” Jalbert added.
