TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A man was arrested after allegedly assaulting an EMT and urinating in front of an ambulance.
WTXL reported that an EMS crew called police to request assistance with patient Marcel Thomas, who allegedly became aggressive while being transported to the hospital for hernia pains.
Officials said Thomas started yelling that he wanted to get out of the ambulance during transport and grabbed an EMT’s hands, refusing to let go until the rig was stopped.
Thomas then ran out of the ambulance and allegedly urinated in front of it before yelling for the crew to give him money for a bus pass. Officials said he yelled until he was given the money, and left the scene.
Police later found Thomas walking nearby and arrested him. He is charged with felony battery on a first responder and indecent exposure.
