UNION COUNTY, S.C. — A man threatened EMS providers with a knife and was fatally shot by a deputy in South Carolina on Saturday.
EMS providers responded to a home and were threatened by the man inside, who then threatened the deputy when he arrived, according to WYFF News 4.
When a stun gun did not stop the man, the deputy shot and killed him, Union County Sheriff David Taylor said.
The sheriff said the deputy was not injured. The incident is under investigation.
