WILSON, Pa. — Wilson police investigating a report of shots fired early Friday arrested a highly intoxicated woman who attacked two officers and a paramedic, authorities say.

Ana Gabriela Diego, 26, is charged with six counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault; as well as harassment, resisting arrest and public drunkenness. Diego of Easton is in Northampton County Prison under $100,000 bail.

According to police Chief Steven Parkansky:

Around 2:45 a.m., police were called to the 1700 block of Butler Street for a report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, Parkansky said they found no evidence of a shooting.

Police said Diego was at the scene and was “very intoxicated.” Diego punched and kicked two officers, including kicking one officer in the face several times, Parkansky said.

Diego also punched a paramedic in the face, neck and chest.

None of the officers nor the paramedic required medical treatment.
