Mark King, EMS Director for the state of West Virginia says this means the ambulance staff will be able to transport intensive care patients from one hospital to another with continued ICU care.

King adds the paramedics have spent an additional 140-hours in training, enabling them to do more in the way of procedures and medicine distribution.
