SNOHOMISH, Wash. — The fire district that serves the city of Snohomish is planning to cut paramedic services.
Snohomish County Fire District 4, which has contracted with Fire District 3 in Monroe to provide paramedic service in the city, is not planning to renew the contract for 2007, district Fire Chief Mark Collins said.
Without paramedics in Snohomish, it could take an average of 12 minutes to get paramedics to respond to emergencies — an increase of about 6 minutes, Collins said. ...
