PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. — State police are searching for a medical worker accused of inappropriately touching a woman in an ambulance.
The 26-year-old woman told police she was alone with EMT Jason A. Jordan, 27, in the back of a Trans Care ambulance while she was being transported from St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis on July 12.
The woman said Jordan touched her inappropriately and then forwarded several personal photos from her cell phone to another person without her consent.
Police have issued a warrant for Jordan’s arrest on preliminary charges of sexual battery and theft, but said they believe he has fled the state.
Investigators said Jordan, who lives in Terre Haute, may be with his wife, Jamie Lea Jordan, 22, and that the couple may be in a maroon 2004 Ford Taurus, Indiana license plate No. ZP5542 or a gray 2006 Ford Mustang with Indiana license plate number RQ3582.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Indiana State Police at Putnamville at 812-299-1151.
