CLEVELAND — Glenn F. Burks, 45, a Cleveland paramedic, was indicted after two patients said he sexually assaulted them in his rescue squad.
He is charged with rape and gross sexual imposition and free on a $25,000 bond. A trial is scheduled for April 6. Family members said the allegations are not true.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Bridgette McCafferty ordered Burks to undergo HIV testing, which is standard in cases involving sexual allegations. The patients said the incidents occurred in May and on Oct. 1.
