A paratrooper from Little Falls was killed in Iraq, the Army reported Monday.
Sgt. Michael R. Hullender, 29, was killed by a roadside bomb while on foot patrol Saturday in Iskandariyah. Hullender was a medic who joined the Army in September 1998 and was assigned to Fort Richardson, Alaska, in May 2005.
He was assigned to the headquarters company of the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) of the 25th Infantry Division. The Army said two other paratroopers were injured in the incident. One was listed as seriously injured and one listed as not seriously injured.
