MINNEAPOLIS — An EMT was slashed in the face with a knife by a restrained patient, according to police.
FOX9 reported that the Healthcare East Medical Transport EMT was transporting Katerina Lundberg, who was restrained on a transport bed, from one hospital to another.
The EMT said he removed one of Lundberg’s hand restraints when they arrived at the hospital, and she then reached for her waist and pulled out a folding knife, slashing the EMT on his cheek.
Lundberg was arrested and charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
