A former Durham Region ambulance attendant has been charged with falsifying his qualifications after failing the paramedic exam twice, police say.
Durham Region officials say the accused man, who was fired March 6, had worked as a paramedic since the regional emergency services division was set up in 2000.
Regional police say he was arrested Tuesday when he appeared at the Oshawa community police station.
