N.Y. ambulance worker pleads guilty in teen solicitation

While on duty as a volunteer at the East Rochester Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Dale Trimmer used an office computer to enter an Internet chat room and converse with someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl.

After arranging to have sex with her, he drove to The Marketplace mall in Henrietta to meet her on Nov. 15 — only to discover that the girl was an undercover Sheriff’s deputy.

Trimmer, 31, pleaded guilty today to a felony of second-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor. He’ll be sentenced on Feb. 14 — Valentine’s Day — to six months in Monroe County Jail and five years’ probation.
