The former manager of a local ambulance service has been admitted to Fayette County’s Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program after he allegedly stole more than $300,000 from the emergency service.
Former American Ambulance Inc. manager David Craig Cunningham, 37, of Uniontown, reached the agreement last year with Fayette County District Attorney Nancy Vernon to enter the program and repay the misappropriated funds to the ambulance service rather than face prosecution.
According to an order issued by Fayette County Judge Gerald R. Solomon Tuesday, a stipulation of Cunningham’s admittance to the ARD program is paying $327,887 in restitution to the ambulance service. ...
