One Metro Emergency Medical Services employee has been fired and another suspended after they were accused of making racially disparaging remarks and giving a Hispanic patient inappropriate medical treatment last month.
Todd Parrott, an emergency medical technician, was fired May 15. His partner, paramedic Chris Seelye, was suspended for 29 days, the maximum suspension allowed.
