LANARKSHIRE, England — A medical bag was stolen from an ambulance as the crew attended a 999 call.
The bag contained a variety of medicines, some of which should only be taken under strict supervision.
Police said the bag was stolen as paramedics treated a patient in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, on Boxing Day.
The bag was found in a garden in the town yesterday.
But the medicine pack, which included liquid diazepam and heart drugs, was missing.
Sergeant Mark Stirling said: “I would warn any member of public not to take any of these medicines.
“If anyone has been offered these hospital drugs or has any information which can help our inquiry, I would ask them to contact Blantyre police office.”
