COVENTRY, Conn. — Firefighter/EMT Charles Myshrall, 67, died on Friday at his home after complications resulting from surgery for an injury sustained on duty, according to the USFA.
A member of the fire service for 26 years, Myshrall fell in a driveway while responding to an EMS call with the North Coventry Vol. Fire Dept. in January.
He was immediately transported to a hospital and was diagnosed with a torn quadriceps muscle. His surgery was performed earlier this month.
