Police: Woman Struck Four Other Cars As Well

CHICAGO — A 49-year-old female motorist who police said struck a Chicago Fire Department paramedic and four cars was charged with aggravated battery Tuesday morning.
Athena Morris, of the 7900 block of South Ellis Avenue, was driving a car near East 82nd Street and South Langley Avenue about 2:20 p.m. Monday when the incident happened, according to a Gresham District police lieutenant who asked not to be named.
Chicago Fire Department paramedics were loading a patient into an ambulance near East 82nd Street and South Langley Avenue when Morris tried to drive around the ambulance onto the curb in a rental car she was not authorized to drive, according to a release from the Chicago Police News Affairs. ...
