MORRISON, Colo. — More than a dozen people are being treated for minor to moderate injuries after a miniature train at an amusement park tipped over.
The accident happened Wednesday at Tiny Town, a kid-scaled replica of an Old West town in the foothills near Denver.
Dan Hatlestad of the Intercanyon Fire Department says the engine of the small, open-car train that runs through the miniature town tipped over first, and all five cars followed.
Nineteen people — from children to grandparents — were treated at the scene, and 15 of them ended up being taken to hospitals. Hatlestad says most of the injuries are bumps and bruises.
