WARRINGTON, England — An ambulance struggled to reach the scene of a crash after motorists stuck in traffic clogged the shoulder, blocking the ambulance.
The Liverpool Echo reported police were sent to move motorists blocking the shoulder after the crash and fuel spillage shut down the roadway.
According to social media posts from witnesses, a paramedic had to leave his ambulance to ask drivers to move their cars.
“Honestly can’t express how angry their selfish actions made me,” Alex Moore, a passenger in a car, tweeted.
Another driver suggested the drivers’ licenses be revoked.
“Every single one of them should have their license suspended. Disgusting people who think only of themselves,” driver Hughes Watts said.
