ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis paramedic was injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning.
The medic was in an ambulance en route to pick up a patient when the rig was struck by another vehicle, according to FOX 2 Now.
Officials said the other vehicle left the scene after the collision. The paramedic sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was later arrested, authorities said. A second ambulance arrived to pick up the patient.
