AURORA, Colo. — One person was hurt after an ambulance was sideswiped at an intersection, according to officials.
KDVR reported that a Denver Health ambulance was at an intersection when another vehicle failed to stop and hit the rig, causing it to crash into a light pole, according to police.
Officials said no patient was inside of the ambulance at the time, and lights and sirens were not activated.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The paramedic driving the ambulance was not harmed in the crash.
