SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — An ambulance company is denying a claim of a hit-and-run incident after a woman said one of its staff members hit her car and drove off.

Laura Norton claimed she was hit by an ambulance and tried to get the driver to stop after the incident, but the ambulance instead took off, FOX 5 reported.

Norton said she took a photo of the ambulance before calling police, but the ambulance company counterclaimed the accusations and said the incident did not occur, providing a photo of its undamaged ambulance as proof.

The ambulance company added that they are cooperating with police in the investigation, which is being treated as a hit-and-run.
