BELLE, W. Va. — Two paramedics were hurt in an ambulance crash Wednesday.

WSAZ reported that the ambulance was responding to a call with its lights and sirens when it approached an intersection in front of a high school, according to police.

A truck turned towards the high school and failed to yield to the ambulance, crashing into the rig.

The paramedics were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The ambulance was not carrying any patients at the time of the crash.

The ambulance suffered significant damage in the crash. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Police said no charges will be filed as a result of the incident.
