MORGANTON, N.C. — Two North Carolina EMS providers were injured when they responded to a food truck crash on Tuesday.
According to the News-Herald, EMS responded to a vehicle crash on the highway involving a food truck. As they approached the scene, litter on the road forced EMS personnel to stop the ambulance abruptly
A tractor-trailer hauling milk and a FedEx vehicle following them could not stop in time, causing a chain reaction that hit the ambulance from behind.
The two EMS providers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Police charged the food truck owner with careless and reckless driving.
