2 Dallas paramedics hurt in ambulance crash

An ambulance transporting a patient was involved in a crash with a truck, requiring all individuals to be transported to the hospital for evaluation

DALLAS — Two paramedics and an intern were taken to the hospital as a precaution after their Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance was involved in a crash with a truck near Deep Ellum.

WFAA reported that the DFR ambulance and truck crashed at 5:54 p.m. on Sunday while transporting a patient. A second ambulance arrived to transport the patient to the hospital.

Both paramedics in the original ambulance, along with an intern, were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the truck was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.

No additional information was provided, including what charges, if any, the driver of the truck may face.
