BALTIMORE — Two medics were injured in an ambulance crash in Baltimore on Friday morning, according to the city fire department.
They were taken to a hospital for evaluation of minor injuries after the crash, a fender-bender that happened just before 10 a.m. at North Charles and East Franklin streets in Mount Vernon, fire department spokeswoman Blair Skinner said. The driver of the other vehicle refused treatment and left the scene, she said.
No patient was inside the ambulance at the time, Skinner said. The cause and circumstances of the crash—including whether the ambulance was headed to an emergency—are under investigation, she said.
No further details were available.
