HARTFORD, Ky. — A man was hospitalized after his dump truck was hit by an ambulance Tuesday.

The Ohio County Monitor reported that paramedic Consuello Norton was driving the ambulance when he struck the side of a dump truck driven by Jerry Clark, according to Kentucky State Police.

Clark told police he did not see the ambulance coming when he began to turn left. He was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Norton and his passenger, Hillary Gather, were not injured.
