VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — EMS crews rescued a woman who jumped into a Virginia lake Sunday afternoon.
13News reported that a woman in her 30s jumped into Lake Holly and refused to come out.
After 20 minutes of coaxing the woman to leave the water, the EMS crew hoisted her over the railing to safety, according to the report.
Medics took the woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, possibly hypothermia.
Workers at the Sandpiper Inn say the woman was a guest at the hotel, but they’re not sure why she jumped into the water, according to the report.
