WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — One person was killed when a car and an ambulance collide in West Bridgewater.
The head-on crash happened overnight on Center Street. The victim has been identified at 59-year-old Wayne Erickson, of Taunton.
The ambulance had just left a nursing home when the accident happened.
The patient inside the ambulance, two medics, and the driver of the truck were taken to Brockton Hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
