TROY, Ill. — A collision of two ATVs sent four young people, including an 11-year-old driver, to the hospital this week and shows the need to talk about safety, a sheriff’s officer said Tuesday.
While the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, all four were airlifted from Anderson Hospital in Maryville to St. Louis hospitals, an Anderson spokeswoman said.
Capt. Will Dimitroff said the Madison County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report about 7:48 p.m. Monday on Bauer Road near County Lane in Troy.
